Shipping & Delivery
When will my order ship?
All orders are processed within 2–3 business days. During launches, restocks, or high-volume periods, processing may take up to 5 business days. You’ll receive a tracking email as soon as your order leaves us.
How long will my package take to arrive?
- Ghana (in-stock items): 2–3 business days
- United States: 2–5 business days after processing
- International: 5–10 business days after processing
Shipping times are estimates and may vary due to carrier delays.
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping is automatic on orders over $300. Below that threshold, shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and chosen carrier.
Do you offer express shipping?
Yes — express shipping options are shown at checkout based on your destination. Choose your preferred carrier and speed when you’re ready to pay, and we’ll get it out within our standard 2–3 business day processing window (up to 5 during launches and high-volume periods).
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — we ship worldwide. International shipments may be subject to customs duties, taxes, or fees, which are the customer’s responsibility.
When will I get my tracking number?
You’ll receive your tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. Please allow 24–48 hours for tracking updates to appear in the carrier system.
What about pre-orders?
Pre-order items ship within 3–7 business days unless otherwise stated. If your order contains both in-stock and pre-order items, your full order ships together once everything is ready.
How long do custom-color units (Soft Luxe Edit / Color Series) take?
Our pre-colored and made-to-order units ship within 1–2 weeks. Each unit is hand-colored to order — the wait is part of the luxury.
Custom cap sizes
We make custom caps by request. DM us on WhatsApp or email info@houseofayira.com with your measurements before ordering.
- Ghana: add about 1 week to your normal lead time
- Everywhere else: just 1–2 extra days baked in
My address was wrong / I need to change it.
Email info@houseofayira.com immediately with your order number. We’ll do everything we can to update it before shipping, but once a package is in transit we cannot redirect it. Customers are responsible for accurate shipping addresses at checkout.
My package says delivered but I never got it.
Once an order is marked delivered, House of Ayira is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. Please file a claim with the shipping carrier directly. If you’d like help, reach out at info@houseofayira.com.
Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit
Can I return or exchange my order?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final. We do not offer refunds.
What if I receive the wrong item or my order is damaged?
We’ve got you. Email info@houseofayira.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos. We’ll review and make it right.
When is something eligible for store credit?
The product must be:
- unused, uninstalled, and unaltered
- in its original packaging
- with lace uncut
Any hair that has been worn, installed, washed, colored, customized, or altered will not be eligible.
When do you not issue store credit?
We do not offer store credit or refunds for:
- change of mind
- texture, length, or color preference
- improper installation or maintenance
- sale items or promotional purchases
I’m in the EU. Do I have a return window?
Yes — EU customers may request a return within 14 days of delivery in accordance with EU regulations. Items must remain unused, uninstalled, and in original condition.
How does store credit work?
Store credit is issued at our discretion for approved cases. It cannot be exchanged for cash and cannot be transferred to another customer.
Payments
What payment methods do you accept?
All major payment options at checkout, including credit & debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Shop Pay & Shop Pay Installments, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Klarna/Afterpay where available. In Ghana, we also accept Mobile Money.
Can I pay in installments?
Yes — Shop Pay Installments and Klarna/Afterpay let you split eligible orders into 4 interest-free payments.
Is it safe to buy from House of Ayira online?
Absolutely. Checkout runs through Shopify’s PCI-compliant system, and every payment provider we use is bank-level encrypted. We never see or store your card details.
Order Changes
Can I cancel or change my order?
Reach out to info@houseofayira.com or DM us on WhatsApp as soon as possible. We process orders within 2–3 business days, so we’ll do our best — but once an order ships or a custom unit enters production, it cannot be changed or cancelled.
Can I combine two orders?
Email info@houseofayira.com with both order numbers before either has shipped, and we’ll try to merge them.
